Whether it’s a hearty breakfast, speedy working lunch, post-work drinks or a three-course meal with family and friends, the all-day dining restaurant promises to deliver a meal that is truly a cut above the rest.
Steaks + Breaks
For a solid start to the day, sink your teeth into bold breakfasts including steak and eggs or the ‘Bar + Block Works’, with dry cured oak smoked streaky bacon, a pork sausage, spicy beans with smoked bacon, salt beef hash, mixed mushrooms and a roasted tomato topped with a fried egg on toast. Still hungry? Those with smaller appetites can rest assured that lighter options are also on offer, including smashed avocado and a poached egg on toast, or granola topped with fresh fruit and yoghurt.
When midday strikes, steaks take centre stage. From rump to ribeye, and sirloin to spiral cut, quality classic cuts are sourced from cattle reared across the Pampas in South America, and dry-aged for a minimum of 28 days before they’re hand-cut to your size of choice. Bar + Block also offers a range of rotating steak specials on their signature “Butchers Block.” Rarer cuts are in limited supply, so make sure to get them before they’re snapped up.
Other highlights from the menu include slow-cooked pork belly, beef short rib, handmade beef burgers freshly ground on-site, and moreish sides of beef dripping chunky chips; buttermilk onion rings; and sweet potato fries with chorizo, feta and coriander. For a relaxing evening with friends, enjoy one of Bar + Block’s sharers and snacks such as chicken wings with raspberry and Tabasco sauce; Burnt Ends (crunchy pieces of caramelised smoked beef brisket); and salt and pepper squid.
Hurried + Hungry
Available 12-5pm Monday to Friday, the Express Menu at Bar + Block is the perfect way to inject flavour into a busy day. Diners can enjoy a glass of wine, beer or soft drink and a dish including steak and frites; open club sandwich or a classic 6oz beef burger and fries, just to name a few, all served within 10 minutes of placing your order.

Bar + Block’s lively central bar, lined with polished ceramic tiles and topped with reclaimed wood, is the ideal setting for evening drinks. Their extensive menu of beers, wines, Champagne, and spirits means there’s something for everyone and any occasion, from post-work tipples to cocktails before heading for a night on the town. Adding a touch of indulgence to your working week, all cocktails at Bar + Block are half price from 5 – 7pm every Monday to Thursday, and on Fizz Fridays, a bottle of Prosecco.
