This Autumn, Soho’s Graphic Bar will be moving eastwards and taking over downstairs at Farringdon’s Ask For Janice, for a gin-soaked three month residency. Launching on 6th October 2017, Graphic will occupy Ask For Janice’s basement bar, bringing with it a top selection of world class gins and a calendar of free workshops and exciting events for after-work cocktail lovers and gin aficionados.
Graphic, located in Soho’s Golden Square and boasting London’s largest gin hoard, will be bringing a breadth of gin expertise to Farringdon, and providing the ultimate gin experience for cocktail lovers in the city. Featuring a new seasonal drinks menu that features beautifully crafted cocktails all served in the bar’s signature paint tin mugs, Graphic bar will be perfect for an after-work tipple, a post-dinner drink, or a full blown night out.
For the launch on Friday 6th October, Graphic has partnered with Plymouth Gin for two exclusive ginthemed events, free for all with a passion for gin. The first is a Plymouth gin workshop, which will see guests learn from the experts how to redistill spirits, followed by a Graphic Bar launch party featuring bespoke Plymouth gin cocktails all night.
Throughout the three-month stint at Ask for Janice , Graphic will host its renowned Gin Socials every second Tuesday of the month. The ultimate extra-curricular activity, Graphic’s Gin Socials are hosted by some of the bar’s favourite small batch producers and premium brands. On the night, guests will receive a welcome G+T, before learning about the history of the brand and offered the opportunity to sample the gin. The first Gin Social will take place on 17th of October from 5pm until late.
To get to the new Graphic bar residency, guests pass through the restaurant and head downstairs, passing through an inconspicuous door built into the brickwork and into an intimate, darkly lit space brightened by striking original graffiti art. The perfect gin drinking hide-out in this exciting corner of Smithfields.
