After developing into a key health food trend over the last few years, chia seeds have become the latest ingredient to be given the Speciality Breads artisan treatment after the launch of a Multi-seed Chia Rustic Roll and a Chia & Sultana Glazed Brioche.
The new innovative duo are available immediately to cafes, pubs, bars, hotels and restaurants, and both feature chia seeds, the on-trend ‘superfood’ and nutritional powerhouse which provides a great source of protein, fibre, anti-oxidants, omega-3 fatty acids and various other micro-nutrients.
Chia & Sultana Glazed Brioche (80g) – A new twist on the traditional fruited teacake, this versatile delight works well either toasted or untoasted and can be topped with an array of fresh fruit for an indulgent afternoon treat.
Multi-seed Chia Rustic Roll (100g) – These rolls look fantastic with a real farmhouse rustic appearance and are absolutely packed with texture and flavour. Each roll is made with a multigrain flour as well as chia and poppy seeds, which makes for a superb flavoursome eat.
