Months of hard work and refurbishment were celebrated when the Inn at South Stainley opened its doors to the public. The former Red Lion pub has been completely transformed by its new owners, the Seafood Pub Company, who invested heavily in a redevelopment programme on the extensive site.
The result is a family friendly venue with a relaxed, comfortable feel and a stylish, contemporary décor. The bar and restaurant lead to a function suite which is ideal for weddings for up to 160 people. The Inn also has 12 bedrooms making it the perfect location for anyone visiting the nearby tourist attractions in Harrogate and Ripon.
“We are delighted with the results of six months of hard work, renovating the Inn at South Stainley,” said Seafood Pub Company managing director, Joycelyn Neve.
Drawing on Seafood Pub Company’s family heritage, seafood specials feature heavily on the menu alongside pub classics and a robata grill and pizza oven to cater for the full family. Breakfast is also served from 8am every day. Dishes including a Mediterranean platter, marinated seafood skewer and holy crab pizza were popular with diners during the venue’s soft launch events.
