Raising the bar with the new High Heat X Pans

By James Russell: Raising the bar with the new High Heat X Pans

Cambro High Heat X-Pans from FEM cut handling time and increase flexibility for caterers

FEM has introduced the new Cambro High Heat X-Pans, designed to increase flexibility and reduce handling time by allowing caterers to prep, store, heat and serve in one pan. Caterers can use them for prepping food and then place them straight in the freezer or directly into a hot oven. The High Heat X-Pans cater for temperatures ranging from -40° to 190°C).

Using one pan for prepping, storing, cooling and heating means the food no longer needs to be transferred. The pans are attractive too, and so are ideal for display and food service, coming in a  choice of an Onyx or Sandstone finish. They have a smooth non-stick surface, increasing yields and making them easy to clean.

Equally suitable for an independent deli or a full-service kitchen delivering hot food to a high volume of customers, the High Heat X-Pans come in eight different gastronorm sizes, from GN 1/1 to GN 1/9, and in a range of depths from 65mm to 150mm. They are dishwasher safe, and stack neatly for optimum use of space.

The High Heat X-Pan can be used safely in a microwave, conventional oven, in steam tables and hot holding applications. They are available through FEM distributors nationwide and have list prices starting from £7.75+ VAT for the GN 1/9, 92HP.
