Flat Cap Hotels is delighted to announce the appointment of Katy Viner as Events and Sales Manager at The Courthouse Hotel, Knutsford.
Katy brings more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry into her new role and will focus on driving new sales and creating opportunities for growth at the newly launched hotel.
Katy has a strong track record in sales, most recently working as Wedding, Events & Reservation Manager at Belle Epoque Ltd, where she was responsible for dealing with all aspects of weddings and events from initial enquiry to execution. In addition, Katy has a vast experience working as Sales Manager for a number of organisations including the Macdonald Portal Hotel and Stock Restaurant in Manchester.
Commenting on the appointment, Dominic Heywood, co-founder of Flat Cap Hotel Group, commented: “Katy is a great addition to the team here at The Courthouse and brings a fresh perspective that will help us to drive sales, events and conferences at The Courthouse. She has a vast experience in the hospitality sector and I wish her every success with us”.
The former Knutsford Crown Courts opened its doors in July following an ambitious renovation by the team at Flat Cap Hotels. The Courthouse boasts one of the largest ballrooms in South Cheshire, with a capacity of up to 250 guests. The stunning Barristers Restaurant and Bar is open, with the Rooftop Gardens and 10 bedrooms opening before the end of the year. An additional 40 bedrooms will be added in 2018.
