Exclusive London Café Chain brews up more business with fresh new location

By James Russell: Exclusive London Café Chain brews up more business with fresh new location

September 23, 2017

The Good Life Eatery (TGLE), an independent chain of cafés prominent across West London, has launched a new eatery in St Johns Wood with the support of a £250,000 finance package from HSBC.

The funding has allowed the business to refurbish the site on St Johns Wood High Street and create 25 new jobs for the local economy.

TGLE, which was co-founded in 2013 by Yasmine Larizadeh and Shirin Kuoros is already a household name, with cafés in the affluent areas of Chelsea, Marylebone and Belgravia. The brand is a pioneer of clean, healthy eating using a diverse range of locally sourced food that accommodates every dietary need, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free.

Commenting on the company’s success, Kevin Dewick, HSBC’s Area Director at the West End Business Banking Team, said: “HSBC has a long-standing relationship with The Good Life Eatery and we are delighted to be able to support the opening of this fourth site. Seeing such a young business go from strength to strength gives us even more reason to continue championing and supporting their ambitious growth plans.”

Yasmine Larizadeh, Managing Director of the Good Life Eatery, commented: “HSBC has been instrumental in helping us expand our business across West London. Our new site in St Johns Wood will help us bring healthy and locally sourced goods to even more customers.”

Complementing their success nationally, TGLE has also been recognised on a global scale with a published cook book aptly titled ‘The Good Life Eatery Cookbook: Real, fresh food from London’s go to healthy café’ which TIME magazine listed as one of the top 10 healthy cookbooks to buy in 2016.
