On 6th November, bar and restaurant group, Drake & Morgan, will open The Listing in Cannon Green, in the heart of the City of London.
Located in the new Cannon Green building, an 82,000 sq ft mixed-use modern office and retail space, The Listing is a new concept from the 20-strong hospitality group, headed up by Jillian MacLean.
Open Monday to Friday from 730am until midnight, The Listing’s extensive menu will feature innovative breakfast dishes, stylish small plates, flatbreads and sharing boards, superfood salads and substantial mains. An extensive drinks list includes a wide range of carefully curated, bespoke cocktails and a new range of hot toddies as well as wines, champagnes, premium spirits and craft beers.
The dramatic double height glazed 7,319 sq ft space has been designed by Fusion Design & Architecture. To contrast with the building’s industrial exterior and The Listing’s unique concrete ‘stair’ ceiling, the 152-cover interior is a mix of calming colours and textures from the washed-out timbers through to the marble-topped tables, eau de nil tiles, aged mirror and touches of brass.
A leather-clad bar curves through the space to the main lounge with its ‘infusion’ and ‘indulgence’ counters, dedicated to mixology, wine and food tastings. The restaurant is dominated by the open kitchen and dining counter whilst other features include curvaceous booths and display shelving laden with striking homeware, books and trailing plants. A year-round al fresco terrace with hanging planters and botanical-inspired lighting overlooks Suffolk Lane and provides an additional 26 covers.

Leading specialist UK leisure property agency, Shelley Sandzer acted on behalf of the landlord, Ocubis, in the deal.

The Listing will be Drake & Morgan’s 22nd venue and follows on from The Allegory on Principal Place which will open in October.
