Roadside restaurant operator OK Diners opens 9th

By James Russell: Roadside restaurant operator OK Diners opens 9th

June 6, 2017

Leading roadside restaurant operator OK Diners Ltd continues to rise to the challenge of increased consumer demand in the roadside restaurant sector. A new 64-seater restaurant opened in Oswestry in May creating 20 jobs for the local area, following development costs in excess of £250k.

Owner Dafydd Poole comments “Consumers today demand more when eating out then ever before, and I believe the roadside restaurant market should meet and exceed customer expectations of service, value and quality.  At OK Diners we provide a fresh approach to roadside dining and we pride ourselves on offering customers a unique dining experience. The growth of the business during these difficult trading times is clear evidence that customers like what we do.”

Established in 1995, OK Diner operates 9 sites strategically located along some of the country’s busiest motorways and A-roads. Offering great value, authentic dishes and the welcoming environment of a classic American diner, OK Diners are 1950s inspired restaurants offering unique ambience and atmosphere to road users in the North of England.  OK Diners provides road users with a variety of freshly prepared American inspired dishes, all made to a high standard, using quality ingredients. With a comprehensive menu including mixed grills and ribs, an impressive range of 100% British beef burgers and breakfasts, luxurious thick dairy milkshakes and lighter dishes, plus a Kids Eat Free offer across the majority of sites, OK Diner caters for the needs of a range of customers within the roadside market, from business travellers through to families living in the towns and villages nearby.

Owner Dafydd Poole comments: “We want to provide customers with an enjoyable break from the stress of road travelling plus we bring something new to the local community.  We bring a unique combination of unbeatable food quality and value to this sector. Our customers can expect to experience the complete 1950’s diner experience – attentive service, relaxing environment, free coffee refills, authentic décor and generously portioned quality menu all within a pleasant diner-style atmosphere.”
