Hollywood Bowl keeps the ball rolling with £300,000 refurbishment of Wolverhampton centre

By James Russell: Hollywood Bowl keeps the ball rolling with £300,000 refurbishment of Wolverhampton centre

June 22, 2017

The UK’s largest tenpin bowling operator, Hollywood Bowl Group, has invested £300,000 in the refurbishment of its Wolverhampton Hollywood Bowl centre at Bentley Bridge Park.

Completed just in time for the May half term, a key operating window for the company; the centre remained open for the duration of the project, and celebrated its new look with a VIP event on Thursday 15th June.

Steve Burns, CEO at Hollywood Bowl Group said: “We’re very excited to have unveiled our new-look centre in Bentley Bridge. It’s our seventh major investment this year, which has also included new builds at Derby and Southampton, and our ongoing Bowlplex rebrand programme.

“All of our investment centres have received fantastic customer feedback and we’re looking forward to continuing this trend with the Bentley Bridge centre.”

Bentley Bridge investment details

The redesigned centre represents the ‘new generation’ of Hollywood Bowl, including 22 fully computerised lanes with plush seating, a new ‘Hollywood Diner’ restaurant and upgraded bar, with new décor celebrating all things Americana.

There are four new, exclusive VIP lanes decorated with portraits of Hollywood legends allowing visitors to get the A-list treatment and bowl in a plush, roped off area, with bowling balls that look like giant pool balls.

Any of the Centre’s lanes can be pre-booked. With classic booths in the new look diner area available to enjoy freshly-made American classics, including gourmet burgers, hot dogs and shakes, Hollywood Bowl is perfectly positioned as not only a great place to enjoy a game of bowling, but also an entertainment haven for families and adult fun seekers alike.

The Centre’s revamped bar serves a variety of drinks and traditional cocktails – making it an ideal venue for night time trade.
