Boxpark, innovators of the world’s first pop-up mall, have unveiled major developments at Boxpark Shoreditch featuring a variety of new food operators including Coqfighter, Poptata and Osteria Della Pasta plus retail traders including The Camden Watch Co., Papersmiths and more, not to mention an incredible pop-up from fun-loving BallieBalllerson. Boxpark also showcases a new-look terrace as the place to be for the summer season.
Now taking control of the top floor are fantastic spots for the food lover, including fried chicken and beer favourites Coqfighter, fresh off the back of the success of their first permanent site at Boxpark Croydon. Also coming from Boxpark’s south London sister site are premium chipmakers Poptata, whilst new faces include divine sweet treats and bubble waffles from Taiwan in the form of Nosteagia. Brand new to Boxpark are Osteria Della Pasta, a new Italian street food project from The Lavender owners in Battersea.
Vegan Döner specialists, What The Pitta have opened their second home whilst Cook Daily have expanded with their double unit, not to mention Les Deux Amies bringing their incredible buckwheat varieties of sweet and savoury pancakes on the ground floor.
To celebrate the opening of the newly refurbished upper deck, Boxpark Shoreditch traders offered up special £1 dishes this week, with all proceeds being donated to Shelter From The Storm and The British Red Cross UK Solidarity Fund. Boxpark Shoreditch tenants Porky’s, Dum Dum Doughnuts, The Athenian, Voodoo Ray’s, Les Deux Amies, Coqfighter and Poptata offered up a special £1 dish.
Meanwhile the top floor refit includes a brand new events space, housing a jam packed summer program of talks, music and more.
Occupying the ground floor are a variety of burgeoning brands that include design-led stationery startup Papersmiths, following the success of their Bristol store with the first foray into the capital and The Camden Watch Co., bringing their industrial-inspired timepieces from North to East London. Then there’s BallieBallerson, taking the success of their fun-loving playground to Shoreditch with their ‘Box Balls’ pop-up and FOMM Vintage providing the threads for every occasion.
