Whilst out with the team from Champagne Lanson recently, on assignment to meet some of London’s most celebrated sommeliers I was lucky enough to taste Champagne Lanson’s rather exquisite multi-vintage Extra Age Brut NV.
I write to try and pass on some of my experiences to readers, but nothing is as good as having the experience yourself, so I have arranged that one lucky reader can.
You will see from the notes below why this champagne is held in such high regard as well as a few facts and figures. One of these facts and figures will help you to win a bottle of Champagne Lanson Extra Age Brut NV.
EXTRA AGE BRUT NV
The Extra Age range was created to celebrate Champagne Lanson’s 250th anniversary in 2010. It emulates the traditionally complex and fresh style maintained by classic Lanson champagnes since 1760. Each cuvée in this extraordinary range is a blend of three exceptional vintages from the most highly regarded vineyards (Grands and Premiers Crus).
Extra Age Brut NV is an exquisite multi-vintage blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and delights with its intensity. Pairs wonderfully with rich dishes such as scallops, truffles, roast partridge or pheasant.
