This Summer, Bubble Bros, Ben Broad and Joe Bruce will be hitting the roads, taking their beloved fleet of Prosecco vans across the length and breadth of Britain.
Co-Founders Ben and Joe have been busy quenching the thirst of the masses over the last two years, serving over 45,000 glasses of fizz and combining their three passions; sparkling wine, festivals and tinkering with vintage vehicles. Their mission was, and remains, to find fun and unique ways to bring the best quality sparkling wine to every corner of the country, the result; The Prosecco Van, a three wheeled vintage Piaggio Ape imported from Italy, restored and lovingly converted into a sparkling wine bar and Prosecco wagon. The van serves bubbly straight from Italy’s D.O.C region, chilled and on tap. After hundreds of weddings, numerous festivals and, tens of thousands happy customers the pair have extended their fleet to include five Piaggio Ape vans and a 1969 motorbike, complete with a sidecar for the world’s first Prosecco bike cum sidecar bar.
“Joe and I are both passionate about festivals, we used to spend every Summer attending as many as possible. One Summer, Joe’s wife overheard a distraught festival goer lamenting that there was nowhere to get cold Prosecco and as lovers of all things bubbly we vowed to end the drought!” say Ben. “We want to make great prosecco accessible to all and this year’s summer tour is a great chance bringing our fun, friendly approach to bubbles to fields across the country,” added Joe
The first stop will see the Bubble Bros van pull up at Borough Market for this year’s London Pizza Festival on 28th May, where they will join London’s top pizzerias for a celebration of the humble slice. In June, Ben and Joe will be heading west to the green pastures of Worthy Farm as Ben and Joe set up shop at Glastonbury’s VIP area. After a quick stop off in Leicestershire for Download Festival, Bubble bros will be popping up at Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park, then onto Latitude and Noisily festivals in July.
