Since opening its doors in London in 2012, LIMA has led an exciting culinary tradition, with LIMA Fitzrovia being the UK’s first and only Peruvian restaurant to win and retain a Michelin star. The flagship was followed by LIMA Floral in London’s Covent Garden two years later, with LIMA Dubai representing the first venue outside of the United Kingdom.
LIMA Dubai occupies a premium, fully licensed location within CITY WALK, the urban lifestyle destination by Meraas, situated in the heart of the Fine Dining Courtyard, neighbouring follow UK exports Demoiselle by Galvin, and Toro from New York. The expansive space is decorated in a colorful yet rustic style, embracing the light, warmth and charm of the Americas and sourcing materials directly from Peru, with a capacity for over 200 spread over the restaurant, bar and outdoor terrace area. Diego has previously worked under Virgilio in Central and is highly attuned to the creative alchemy and love of natural, organic dishes that makes LIMA so special. As such he is the ideal representative of the family in the Emirates.
