Bang Bang Oriental will open in North London this summer, with a food court, restaurant, shopping experience and community space. There will be 33 individual kiosks offering an eclectic mix of Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian, Vietnamese, Singaporean, Taiwanese and Malaysian cuisine.
The new hub will also be home to the Golden Dragon flagship restaurant. The 300 cover restaurant will offer dim sum lunches with an extensive traditional Chinese menu in the evening.
There will be four separate retail units on the mezzanine floor beside the community space, including Chinese massage and herbal medicine, and nail and beauty boutiques. There will also be indoor and outdoor spaces for community events, cookery classes, and cultural activities such as Lion dancing. The community spaces will be available for residents to hire for free for up to 60 hours a week. There will also be a children’s play area.
Bang Bang Oriental is a green initiative so sustainability is important to the site. The venue will feature state-of-the-art technology including a bio-fuel cylinder collecting food waste for energy regeneration, thus reducing carbon emissions.
