Sopwell House’s wide choice of dining options will ensure couples have a romantic and indulgent Valentine’s this February 2017.

The Brasserie

A menu exclusively created for Valentine’s Day will be available in The Brasserie at Sopwell House. The Brasserie is the perfect backdrop for enjoying an intimate dinner in a contemporary setting.

Diners can choose from a selection of mouth-watering dishes including Tempura of Tiger Prawns, with Gazpacho Shots; Roast Barbary Duck Breast, Sweet Potato Purée, Bok Choy, Sweet Chilli Jam; and Chocolate Pot, Salted Caramel Pearls and Passion Fruit Sorbet.

The three-course Valentine’s Day menu is available in the Brasserie.

The Restaurant

For those looking for something that extra bit special, guests can enjoy a luxurious five-course tasting menu in The Restaurant.

Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Taittinger Rosé Champagne and canapés on arrival, plus will be given a box of gift-wrapped handmade white chocolates to take home.

The tasting menu will include a variety of delectable dishes including Hand Dived Scallops, with Roasted Cauliflower; Slow Cooked Fillet of Beef, Fondant Potato and Glazed Baby vegetables; and Raspberry and Chocolate Tart, Passion Fruit Meringue, Champagne Sorbet. A vegetarian tasting menu is also available.

Afternoon Tea

Cupid’s taken over the traditional afternoon tea at Sopwell House to ensure that the favourite British pastime is the perfect Valentine’s Day treat.

To satisfy those with a sweet-tooth, Sopwell House’s indulgent Afternoon Tea will feature Chocolate & Raspberry Hearts; Wild Strawberry Macaroons; and Pink Champagne and Raspberry Jelly. While the special selection of the finest sandwiches will include Smoked Chicken on Mediterranean bread, and Smoked Salmon and Cracked Black Pepper on Brown Bread. Guests can also indulge in both plain and fruit scones adorned with clotted cream and freshly-made fruit compotes.

To enhance the celebratory mood, a complimentary glass of Taittinger Rosé will be served to all guests.

The Valentine’s Day afternoon tea is available (Mon-Sun). It is available between 1pm and 5.30pm in the Cocktail Lounge, Conservatory Bar and the Restaurant.
