Whilst spending time on social media (and I do spend a great deal of my time on social media), about a month or so ago, I saw a beautiful bowl and I fell in love with it.
After speaking with the potter Chris Bowen, I was determined to include this bowl for a collaboration, especially as it was unlike anything I had seen before.
I’d met Dave Pigram at an experiential catering event at around the same time and was blown-away by his passion for food. Dave showed his passion through creating dishes expressing out of the ordinary. The collaboration was set.
The image consists of set passion fruit, dried white chocolate, 30 second cake, cardamom gel, chocolate bubble wrap with a dark chocolate branch sprayed with cocoa butter on Chris’ beautiful bowl. It’s complex and beautiful food that for me becomes the bowl.
Thank you so much to both Chris Bowen @baronvonbowen and Dave Pigram @Chefdave_82 for putting so much love into their creations. I love twitter for lots of reasons, meeting people is one of them.
