Mr Fogg’s Residence is delighted to announce the appointment of Marco Ercolano to the position of General Manager. Ercolano will be responsible for the overall running and day-to-day operations of the characterful, off-the-wall bar in Mayfair and was previously General Manager at Rivoli Bar & Lounge at The Ritz London.
Ercolano boasts an impressive resume, having overseen the running of London’s most luxurious drinking and dining establishments. Ercolano previously held the position of General Manager at Rivoli Bar & Lounge at The Ritz London (2014-2016), where he was fully operationally and financially accountable for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the renowned London venue.
Having studied Hotel Management in Italy, Ercolano moved to London in 2003 to pursue his hospitality career. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management from the University of West London and has also collected an impressive array of awards, including Winner of the Galvin Cup 2008 Cocktail Competition.
Ercolano began his career in hospitality at the five star Baglioni Hotel, where he was appointed Head Bartender (2007-2008) and was tasked with redesigning and implementing new bar menus. Since then, he has gained a wealth of experience working at various renowned London bars and restaurants. These include the Milestone Hotel, Bulgari Hotel & Residences London and Galvin at Windows (2008-2013), where he launched a new cocktail bar concept whilst simultaneously undertaking the role of wine buyer.
