Giuseppe and Pamela Turi, owners of Italian neighbourhood restaurant Enoteca Turi, have appointed Francesco Sodano as Head Chef. With a wealth of international experience and Michelin-starred training behind him, the Naples native brings a modern approach to the regional Italian cuisine at the restaurant.
Francesco was born into a family of chefs and began his career as a child alongside his father, in an area where good food is part of everyday life. His passion for food and dedication to the trade continued in Michelin starred and five-star establishments in Naples and Rome, working with influential chefs such as Pierfranco Ferrara at 1* Michelin Capo D’Orso Restaurant in Maiori Amalfi, Oliver Glowig at 2* Michelin restaurant at Aldrovandi Palace Hotel in Rome and Anthony Genovese at 2* Michelin Il Pagliaccio Restaurant in Rome. He went on to work as Executive Sous Chef in Malibu, Los Angeles at Nikita Restaurant.
In January 2015, he was hired as Senior Sous Chef at private member’s club Annabel’s in Mayfair, delighting the prestigious clientele with gourmet dishes full of drama and indulgence.
At Enoteca Turi, Francesco calls on his Italian heritage to inspire his refined and sophisticated menu, using ingredients not often seen outside their traditional region in Italy. Francesco’s beautiful and flavoursome dishes bring historical, Italian cuisine into the modern day, delivering the eclectic and striking flavours of regional Italy to the heart of Belgravia.
