Drake & Morgan has acquired two further London sites in the City, both scheduled to open this Autumn.
The Listing, will open in the new 82,000 sq ft development and workplace concept, Cannon Green and this will be followed shortly by The Allegory in Principal Place – Brookfield’s 600,000 sq ft of premium office, residential and retail space in Bishopsgate and home to internet retailer Amazon’s new HQ.
The acquisition forms part of Drake & Morgan’s strategy to build a significant, multi-brand bar and restaurant portfolio in London and regionally. This will see the group grow to 25 sites by the end of 2017. The previously announced sites at West India Quay and St Peter Square Manchester will open in the summer.
Post a review of the Corney & Barrow Wine Bars, acquired in July 2016, Drake & Morgan have sold two sites that no longer fit the brand’s portfolio. C&B Masons Avenue has been sold to the Davys Group and the bar at Monument to the London Cocktail Club. There are no redundancies and the existing C&B teams will relocate to other Drake & Morgan bars and restaurants.
