Award-winning contract and events caterer, KUDOS, will be holding their annual ‘K’ Awards next week to celebrate their successes of the past year and to recognise the achievements of their staff who excelled in 2016.
The awards will take place at Gibson Hall in Bishopsgate and will feature an awards ceremony, live entertainment and a three-course banquet created by KUDOS’ Michelin-starred Food Director, David Cavalier, and head chef Richard Webb. The menu will include a starter of marinated loch salmon and Brixham crab, a main course of Gressingham duck breast with red wine jus, and a vegetarian option of artichoke heart with wild mushroom puff pastry.
Senior Partner of KUDOS, Peter Bruun, said: “The ‘K’ Awards are definitely one of the highlights of the KUDOS year. Not only do we use this festive-themed event to bring colleagues together from all venues across the country, but it allows us to show our appreciation for their contribution to another great year for us as a company.
“The awards themselves are given to individuals and teams that have stood out in the past year, and this evening is all about celebrating them”.
The ‘K’ Awards consist of seven categories and the winners are chosen by a panel of KUDOS’ senior management team. The categories include Chef of the Year, which recognises the chef that has provided innovation and flair in their venue, as well as General Manager of the Year, which rewards the person who has successfully managed their quality KPIs, ISO accreditations and increased sales within their particular venue. Other categories include Sales Person of the Year, Employee of the Year and Support Staff of the Year.
The ‘K’ Awards take place on Friday 20 January 2017.
