We recently met with Neale Hargreaves, Managing Director of Hargreaves Reclaimed Flooring to gain a better understanding of the family business.
We wanted to hear more about their heritage, product portfolio and their service proposition and what the business offers to the restaurant, hotel, contract catering and leisure sectors.
Celebrating 27 years in business this year, Hargreaves Reclaimed Flooring was established in Scotland in July 1990 by the Hargreaves brothers Neale and Derek and has flourished as a family business, supplying thousands of square metres of reclaimed wood flooring to the hospitality and catering industry.
Originally based in Falkirk, in 2003 the company took the opportunity to move to their current premises at Dougalshill Farm, by Airth in Scotland. The business is going from strength to strength and they are currently upgrading their buildings and showrooms to enhance their clients comfort and experience.
All the flooring is stored at their head office in Scotland and in May 2013 the company expanded the business by opening an office in Kent to assist with the growing demand of their products and services.
From the beginning of January 2009, Hargreaves started to manufacture and supply bespoke kitchens and furniture made from reclaimed wood.
From their roots supplying reclaimed flooring they are now able enhance the product and are able to source and supply items of architectural salvage.

As well as Nike our client portfolio includes Urban Outfitters in Oxford Street, London, Brewdog, Loungers and G1 Group. Costa Coffee, Nando’s, Cleavers, The Coin Laundry at Exmouth Market and the ULG group also rank amongst our ever growing client list.
“Our current stock is over 60,000m2 of Reclaimed Hardwood and Softwood flooring. We also have a very large stock of Reclaimed timber battens in Pitch Pine, Douglas Fir and Redwood Pine, we also provide a milling service to machine beams to size.”
