Our data shows that several British beaches offer low-cost accommodation – welcome news for anyone looking to take a staycation by the sea in 2017. In addition, those looking to make city trips this year can save money by swapping London, Bath or Oxford in favour Sheffield, Nottingham, or Newcastle. These results come at an ideal time for anyone looking to escape the Blue Monday blues.”

About the data

Based on hotel searches made between 01.01.2016 and 31.12.2016. Each destination included in the data capture had at least 60 hotels and showed availability throughout the 12-month period.
