The Mirage Warmers, manufactured by Vollrath and marketed in the UK by FEM, have four power levels – low, medium, high and chafer preheat – which are selected using easy-to-use touch controls. Judges were also impressed by the safety features including over-heat protection, small-article detection, pan auto-detection and empty-pan shut-off.

The Caterer Product Excellence Awards were announced at a ceremony at Westminster Kingsway College, London, on December 1st 2016. The awards are judged by leading suppliers and foodservice operators.
