Chefs from some of the UK’s top hotels and restaurants will be taking their place at  the 2017 Chef’s Gala Dinner, the fundraising evening which aims to raise over £100,000 for Children’s Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF).

At the event which takes place at The Dorchester on March 20 2017, four nationally renowned chefs will each prepare a course, while at least 25 more will swap the kitchen for the hotel’s elegant ballroom as they join guests at their tables and share the secrets of life behind the kitchen doors at some of Britain’s finest dining establishments.

The cooking chefs who are still to be announced will be working under the direction of The Dorchester’s award-winning Executive Chef, Henry Brosi, who commented: “I am proud to have supported Children’s Liver Disease Foundation for almost ten years now, both as a chef and as a parent.”

Amongst those who have already confirmed attendance are Mark Flannagan, Executive Chef at Buckingham Palace, Shay Cooper of The Goring Hotel, Mickael Weiss of Quaglinos and  Armand Sablon of Hotel Café Royal, who commented: “It is a pleasure for me to participate in this event, it is such honourable cause. I hope the initiative and collaboration with fellow chefs will significantly contribute to the wonderful job CLDF is doing.”

CLDF Head of Fundraising, Joanna Oldfield commented: “Many people do not realise that two children every day are diagnosed with a liver disease and there is still no cure. The Chef’s Gala Dinner not only gives companies a chance to help transform the lives of those young people affected but is also a wonderful corporate entertaining experience at the same time.”

A table for 10 guests at the Chef’s Gala Dinner can be reserved for £1850.
