TME’s new TC Wall Ports allow quick, cheap temperature spot checks in any busy kitchen or food storage facility. Discreet wall-mounted thermocouple connectors can be located up to 20 metres away from the temperature point being monitored – and the results are stable and accurate.
Simple to use
Ovens, cold storage areas and any other hard to reach, boxed-in or hazardous area can be monitored remotely using hardy TC Wall Ports. Each port houses a thermocouple connector, linked to the temperature point by a fine wire sensor, which can be supplied in different lengths. Plugging a thermocouple thermometer, such as TME’s MM2000 range, into the TC Wall Port delivers an accurate and instant result with no need to open up appliances or enter difficult spots.
Connection cables are included in the TC Wall Ports’ low price of under £16. The TC Wall Port also comes in either white for general use, or optional red and blue for hot and cold water test points.
Integrating paperless temperature records
For greater integrity of records, many new customers are using barcode labels on their TC Wall Ports. This enables them to switch to a barcode scanning thermometer, which stores records automatically and records not only temperatures, but also the unique identity of each measurement point. TME recommends its MM700 range for free software, programmable alarms, Bluetooth or USB connection and cloud-based compatibility.
