The Cairn group proudly celebrated their latest venue, Lobby on Hill Street, launch party by inviting over 200 guests to a glamorous evening of cocktails, canapés, live music and DJs.
On Thursday evening guests enjoyed a champagne and jazz reception at the invitation only event, which saw attendees enjoy glitter make-overs courtesy of Central School of Make Up, traditional shoe shining from Mr Swervy’s Travelling Shoe Shine.
The evening also brought dazzling show girls, a Magic Mirror, a lucky prize give away sponsored by Veuve Clicquot seeing guests win many amazing prizes through out the evening.
Local brass band Young Pilgrims surprised guests with a lively flash mob style performance, which kicked off the live music element of the evening and led guests through the venue. It was then over to popular TV personality and BBC 6 Music’s Craig Charles, followed by and local DJ Sam Redmore who kept the party going until the early hours with a funk and soul tracks.
Open daily from 7am until late, Lobby On Hill Street has got all the daily essentials covered, serving Starbucks for the morning commuter through to a selection of signature cocktails from the venue’s innovative drinks menu, including the Flaming Zombie, Make-Up Martini and Smoked Gingerbread Manhattan.
As well as an extensive cocktail menu, Lobby On Hill Street serves a delightful Hill Street Food menu, made up of street food inspired tapas dishes priced at three for £14, and a “Dine All Day” menu featuring plates from the grill, brunch, and lunch time specials, as well as fantastic drinks packages and cocktail masterclasses.

Proving to be a hit with guests on its opening night, the Lobby On Hill Street will be the newest addition to the thriving hub of bars and eateries surrounding Grand Central’s main entrance in the heart of Birmingham City Centre.
Boasting bright and stylish decor, an airy bar area and a heated urban terrace, will mark owners Cairn Group’s first ever venture in the Midlands, who’s nationwide portfolio of bars and restaurants includes Jalou, 97 and Social, River Bar and Juniper.
