More and more restaurants are catering for customers with allergens. To aid caterers in ensuring their staff fully understand the needs of customers with food allergies, FEM has launched the San Jamar Allergen Saf-T-Zone Mats.
The San Jamar Allergen Saf-T-Zone Mats are available in two sizes. The Server Window Allergen Mat measures 304mm (l) x 304mm (w) and can be placed in the server window to designate an allergen free plate that is ready to be served to the customer. The Prep Station Mat measures 609mm (l) x 762mm (w) and is used to establish a defined area for preparing food for customers with allergens.
The Mats feature eye-catching purple writing to compliment the rest of the San Jamar Allergen safe range. The Mats are embossed with the top eight allergens, giving information on how to best cater for the requirements of food-allergic customers under the headings ‘review’, ‘refer’, ‘respond’, ‘remember’ and ‘segregate’. They ensure that throughout the ordering, prep and service the customer’s needs are met and the correct protocol is followed.
Both San Jamar Allergen Saf-T-Zone Mats are available from FEM distributors with one year warranty. The Server Window Allergen Saf-T-Zone Mat is available for £35.00 plus VAT and the Prep Station Mat is available for a list price of £79.50 plus VAT.
