Leading international hotel operator Macdonald Hotels & Resorts has announced the addition of a key member of staff to oversee its well-known Inverness property.
Zsolt Balogh has been appointed General Manager of the four-star, two AA rosette Macdonald Drumossie Hotel on the outskirts of the city. He brings to the role more than 20 years of experience in sales, training, hospitality and catering.
Hungarian-born Mr Balogh joined Macdonald Hotels & Resorts in 2013 as Food and Beverage Director at the Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort before becoming General Manager at the company’s Perthshire Macdonald Loch Rannoch property.
Commenting on his new role at Macdonald Drumossie Hotel, Zsolt Balogh: “I am delighted to join the team and look forward to working with them as we embrace the future of this renowned Highland hotel.
