The North-East leisure operator, Cairn Group, has announced it has acquired a new Birmingham City Centre bar and eatery, Lobby on Hill Street.
Having invested significant funds in the project, Newcastle based Cairn Group plans to launch Lobby on Hill Street this Au-tumn, following the completion of months of extensive construc-tion and development work, recruitment drives and team training.
The venue, located in the heart of Birmingham city centre, will serve an inspiring menu of innovative cocktails and street food style tapas dishes, boasting quirky interior décor, an airy bar ar-ea, and a heated urban terrace.

Earlier this year, the privately owned Cairn Group revealed plans to invest £50million into growing its nationwide portfolio of ven-ues, which currently stands at over 50 hotels, bars and restau-rants, including the Jalou, 97 & Social, Juniper and Columbus Bar.
Having recently acquired its first standalone bar outside of the business’ home region in Newcastle, Lobby on Hill Street marks their first venture in the Midlands area.
This news follows several important investment announcements for Birmingham, including the £1bn Curzon Investment Plan for the upcoming HS2 line, and news from Southside Business Im-provement District, detailing forthcoming redevelopment plans to transform the entire Smallbrook Queensway area.
The addition to Birmingham’s nightlife scene, Lobby On Hill Street will join the hub of bars and eateries surrounding Birming-ham’s Grand Central main entrance.
