Michelin Pub of the Year 2014, The Greyhound on the Test in Stockbridge, is delighted to welcome two exceptional chefs to the pub for a series of one-off supper clubs this autumn/winter.

Thursday 13 October 2016 sees the very talented chef, Adam Byatt, join Chris Heather and his brigade in the kitchen at The Greyhound on the Test where he will cook a sumptuous five-course feast with canapés and petits fours. There will also be wines to match!

Adam Byatt, Chef Patron of Trinity, Upstairs at Trinity and Bistro Union in Clapham has appeared on television screens a number of times, as a regular on BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen and numerous other cooking and lifestyle shows. Being born into a family of great cooks and food lovers, a career as a chef was almost inevitable for Adam and he began his career in the frenetic kitchen of the legendary Claridge’s Hotel at the age of 16.

And then just in time for Christmas on Thursday 8th December 2016, none other than chef Tom Kerridge will cook at The Greyhound on the Test for an evening not to be missed! In 2011, Tom’s pub, The Hand and Flowers was the first pub to receive two stars in the Michelin Guide and he’s made numerous appearances on television as well as writing three best-selling cookbooks, Proper Pub Food, Best Ever Dishes and Tom’s Table. A fourth book is due out January 2017, titled The Dopamine Diet and he also has a beautiful new homeware range out this November.

Lucy Townsend – who owns The Greyhound on the Test – comments – “We are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming Tom and Adam into our kitchen for what we are sure will be two very special evenings and we really appreciate all the support they’ve given to my partner Alex.”

Proceeds from both evenings will go to the Alex Lewis Trust – used to help fund Alex’s rehabilitation after a life changing illness, from wheelchairs, to home adjustments, prosthetics and their maintenance.

The Greyhound on the Test offers something for everyone. Its location on the River Test, amongst beautiful countryside, makes it ideal for active breaks from fly fishing to walking. For the less energetic, it is simply a delightful spot for a relaxing weekend away in luxury accommodation. The award winning experience will leave you wanting to return time and again…
