iNTERTAIN has opened a newly acquired Walkabout in Chelmsford, just three weeks after completing on the lease assignment at the beginning of September.
The venue – a former J D Wetherspoon pub – has undergone a half million pound investment in order to transform it into a new-style Walkabout bar, with décor that takes inspiration from vibrant Australian cities, Melbourne and Sydney.
In-line with the new-style Walkabout brand, the bar has a high focus on sport and party, with an elevated DJ booth overlooking the dance floor and a huge, double-height projection screen for big games, as well as HD screens placed at every bookable booth.
The new menu, which focuses on modern-Australian dining, is also on offer.
