Gidleigh Park is celebrating after being named ‘Rural Hotel of the Year’ and overall ‘Hotel of the Year’ by readers of Food and Travel magazine at a glittering awards dinner in central London this week.
Voted for by readers, The Food and Travel Reader Awards 2016 were held at the prestigious Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall, London, on 12 September, honouring the best of the best in the worlds of food, drink and travel.
Named as Rural Hotel of the Year, alongside Claridges (City Hotel of the Year), The Salutation Inn (B&B of the Year) and Lux Belle Mare Mauritius (International Hotel of the Year), Gidleigh Park was also named overall winner and Hotel of the Year.
