BaxterStorey baristas from locations across London recently attended a unique training session with one of the world’s top latte art champions. Dhan Tamang has held the title of UK Latte Art Champion for the past three years and was recently ranked fourth in the world following this year’s World Latte Art Championship, in Shanghai in June.
Tim Sturk, head of coffee training and development at BaxterStorey, said: “We were delighted to welcome Dhan to lead a special session for a number of our baristas who wanted to develop their latte art techniques. This unique opportunity enabled the team to build on skills including milk texturizing and patterns from one of the masters in our industry.
“Quality coffee and staff development are both fundamental to our business. We have trained some of the UK’s top baristas who have gone on to dominate in the UK Barista Championships, leading the way within the sector.”
