Crerar Hotels Trust has donated £4,000 to Mindroom, an independent Scottish charity supporting the families of children, and young people with learning difficulties throughout Scotland. The support was celebrated during a special cheque presentation from Sarah Firth, on behalf of Crerar Hotels Trust to Mindroom, today, August 16 2016.
Christine Carlin, Mindroom Chief Executive said: “This is an amazing award and we are hugely grateful to the Crerar Hotels Trust.
We are receiving more requests for help every year and this funding will help our team to work with more families to achieve the support to which their children are entitled. For families already living with learning difficulties, the maze of bureaucracy they face is daunting and exhausting. On their behalf too, our grateful thanks to Crerar Hotels Trust for this award.”
Since 2000, the Mindroom professional team has helped the families of children and young people by enabling them to access better support, and by empowering them to engage more effectively with a wide range of organisations and individuals across the Health, Social Care, Education and Third sectors.
