It’s official – Pokémon Go has taken over the world and as luck would have it, Somers Town Coffee House, owned by Yummy Pub Co., has been given the coveted task of being a Poké stop. In celebration, the pub will be hosting a Pokémon Go event in its speakeasy cocktail bar, Cosy Kettle (located under the pub), this Friday 29 July.
Guests will be able to enjoy the new, limited time only cocktail menu which features three yummy Poktails including Pikachu, Oddish and Evee. In addition, the team will also be sending out lures throughout the week so guests can sip their cocktails and capture creatures at the same time!
On the night of the event, there will be a projector screen featuring Japanese anime shows and – you guessed it – Pokémon, as well as some tasty Poké ball donuts and other sweets to nibble on.
