In support of Team GB as they head to Rio, Wadworth, the regional pub operator and family brewer, has brewed a special amber ale.
With a nod to Rio where the Games are being held, the beer named Espirito de Carnaval hopes to inject some Brazilian faith in athletics fans that Team GB will be victorious this summer. The 4.3% ABV ale, is available to buy across the Wadworth estate and national pub customers.
Espirito de Carnaval is described as a punchy South American ale, with a dry malt base beer, spicy pepper notes combined with fruity citrus hops, which gives it a vibrant citrusy taste. It is a well-balanced easy drinking ale, combining English malt with vibrant hops from the US and Brazilian spices.
Colin Oke, Head Brewer at Wadworth said: “Everyone at Wadworth is absolutely backing Team GB this summer. We hope this unique-tasting beer will give our drinkers a taste of Rio and encourage them to support Great Britain in the upcoming month.”
