Deliveroo, the award-winning on-demand food delivery service has announced today it will be partnering with Baggot Street Wines, Fresh The Good Food Market and Galway Bay Brewery, allowing customers to order their favourite craft beers and wines to create the perfect meal accompaniment.
Deliveroo customers can now order their favourite wines from Dublin based independent wine specialist Baggot St Wines, Fresh The Good Food Market from their in-house wine concession The Wine Barrel and Galway Bay Brewery with delivery times set to be around 20 minutes.
The service, which has also been launched in the UK today, will work identically to Deliveroo’s food delivery; alcohol merchants will be provided with a tablet in which orders can be processed through the Deliveroo app. Nearby riders will collect the order from staff and deliver the order to customers, in an average of 20 minutes. Deliveroo began trialing standalone alcohol merchants on the platform in spring 2016 and noted strong consumer demand.

Before using Deliveroo we were unable to offer an on-demand delivery service, and like many independent merchants we didn’t have the resources or manpower to make it happen. But thanks to Deliveroo we’ve been able to increase our service offering and clientele which is fantastic!”
