Camm and Hooper launch fifth new venue on Soho Square

By James Russell: Camm and Hooper launch fifth new venue on Soho Square

July 19, 2016

Independent event and hospitality group Camm & Hooper is thrilled to announce their fifth new site ‘Six Storeys on Soho’ scheduled to open in Autumn 2016.

Camm and Hooper continue to revolutionise event space in iconic London buildings, providing true innovation and an exceptional product on all levels.

Six Storeys on Soho will be the latest incarnation for Camm & Hooper this year.

Situated at 11 Soho Square in London and inspired by the Square’s colourful, bohemian and decadent past, this opulent and sumptuously furnished Town House will share six floors of elegant bars, dining and private events rooms for ‘the discerningly curious’ and is challenging the concept of private member clubs, by offering this experience to guests without a membership fee.

The square holds much notoriety as a historic place of ‘indulgence and escapade’ for socialites and gentry, hosting intimate concerts, operas and plays through to masquerade balls and private ‘events’. Camm & Hooper continue to capitalise on their unique spaces and locations, with a mixed format offer and will embrace the heritage of Soho Square at Six Storeys on Soho.

The offer will comprise ground floor and first floor restaurant and bar, with four individual floors providing their own ‘stories’ each with individual intrigue. Floors are available to hire individually, or the whole House can be hired for events and special functions.

Camm & Hooper has evolved the events industry model, making full use of all available assets, supplementing events space with permanent restaurant and bar offers wherever possible. From banks to warehouses, conservatories to libraries, the concept and development work has been award winning. Camm & Hooper continue to grow with a number of new venues in the pipeline throughout London, with ‘best in class design’.

Brainchild of Claire Lawson and funded by The Imbiba Partnership, Camm & Hooper seek great concept spaces to enable them to offer unique events to a wide range of clients in the capital’s landmark locations. With a highly accomplished management team, they use their expert knowledge and experience to find, invest in and create unique, desirable and exciting spaces, where excellent style, quality, service and innovation come as standard. Camm & Hooper locations are unique in the market.

Claire Lawson, Camm & Hooper Managing Director comments, “We are all incredibly excited by the development of No.11 Soho Square and its imminent transformation into Six Storeys on Soho. It’s fantastic to be part of the local, creative and media community. Together with our events and hospitality team we are really looking forward to creating a very special experience in the heart of Soho and London’s West End – and to bringing our own indulgent escapade to life at Six Storeys on Soho.”

The group opened its first two locations, Tanner & Co and Tanner Warehouse in 2012, followed by Banking Hall in Cornhill in May 2014, which was awarded Best New Venue launch in London. The Victorian Bath House at Liverpool Street followed in December 2015 and the fifth location in Soho is set to open this Autumn.
