Having never organised a charity event previously it has been a real pleasure to witness just how supportive some companies are.

One message on Twitter and 2 minutes later Head Chef George Lyon confirmed that they were ‘Happy’ to help and promptly did. Our auction now includes – Lunch for two with a bottle of house wine midweek at Gordon Ramsay’s London House, Battersea.
A recent visit by H&C News and here’s what we thought, the winning bidder is in for a treat!155 Bar & Kitchen, Clerkenwell, London
One phone call to Sara Carter, COO at Clerkenwell London and lunch or dinner for two with a bottle of house wine at 155 Bar & Kitchen was added to the auction. Sara then added that she was happy to also donate a made to measure tailored men’s suit by tailor in residence at Clerkenwell London, David Newell. David Newell is tailor to a remarkable client list including Jamie Foxx.
Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala’s Café Spice Namaste, London E1
This time one email and Cyrus Todiwala simply could help enough, a ‘normal’ meal for two just wasn’t enough he had to come up with something more to help raise as much money as possible. So later the same day another email…Dinner for four, tasting menu or a menu of your personal choice with wine at Cyrus Todiwala’s restaurant, Café Spice Namaste, London E1 and a signed copy of Chef’s new book – Mr. Todiwala’s Spicebox.
Three remarkably generous individuals who are all helping to make a BIG difference to the lives of disadvantaged children in South Africa.
