Guestline are pleased to unveil the new website they’ve developed for Tewkesbury Park, a 94 bedroomed hotel in Gloucestershire. Having been a Guestline client for 2 years, the property decided their website needed an overhaul to mirror the quality offered within the hotel and to drive direct bookings following a £4million refurbishment.

With the majority of their technology needs covered by Guestline, the team opted for their WebSuite package to retain the security and convenience of dealing with just one supplier.  Having designed and developed over 50 hotel websites, Guestline has a proven track record of maximising a hotel’s online presence.

Claire White, Director at Tewkesbury Park commented, “Guestline’s editable content management system (CMS) is exactly what we were looking for: a simple, easy to use platform. We can make immediate changes to the website, whether that be updating a special offer or new event, or even changing our imagery – everything is so easy to do! The integrated online booking module is equally clear and easy to use for our guests, which is of paramount importance.”

Sarah Jones, Operations Director at Guestline said “Tewkesbury Park needed a fully integrated solution that would drive direct bookings and increase revenue through a professionally designed, mobile enabled website. The team wanted it to look contemporary but still have that rustic heritage feel, so we’ve used a careful palette of muted colours. With online bookings accounting for over 25% of all bookings, we have optimised their online booking platform to drive direct sales and increase the conversion rate of browsers into bookers”.

Guestline’s new Price Assure tool (which allows guests to compare the total cost of their stay on the hotel’s website against 5 other online channels) is also part of the booking process online. This gives guests the confidence to book direct in the knowledge they are receiving the best possible deal.

Claire adds “The new website is a vast improvement and we have received numerous compliments already. It now reflects the standard and quality of the hotel as a whole. The Guestline team has been excellent to work with – highly responsive and willing to help whenever possible making the whole process straightforward and pain free. We were apprehensive about such a big change over but the whole process has run extremely smoothly with regular updates and training when required.”

Tewkesbury Park also run Guestline’s property management system, Rezlynx, alongside the distribution platform, advanced conference and banqueting manager and EPoS.

WebSuite is Guestline’s in-house digital marketing solution which aims to increase revenue by driving direct bookings. WebSuite services include website design, customised online booking engines, editable CMS, email campaigner, blogs and training.
