Restauranteur Adam White, MD and co-founder of Village London Central, has confirmed that his next restaurant and bar, set to open in the Nova development in Victoria in September this year, will be called Rail House Café.
As can be expected from the company behind The Riding House Café in Fitzrovia and Village East in Bermondsey, the new venture will be a modern café with all-day dining and plenty of individual character. White will once again spearhead the design project, working with manufacturing partners to create bespoke furniture and interior touches to soften the contemporary glass and concrete space.
The 330-cover Rail House Café will feature an extensive ground floor eating and drinking area, as well as an upstairs bar and raised private dining room. It will also have an outdoor area for 90, complete with seating and an alfresco bar.
Nova Victoria is bringing some of London’s most exciting chefs and restaurant groups together to create a new foodie hot spot for the capital. Jamie Oliver’s Barbecoa, Bone Daddies, D&D London, Shake Shack, Jason Atherton and Franco Manca will all be joining Rail House Café in the newly established restaurant quarter.
Adam White said of the upcoming opening: ‘Rail House Café is the evolved concept of the Riding House Café. It will have parallels in that it’s a modern international brasserie with an exciting and fun evening offer, but it will also have its own identity. We wanted to get away from the trend for over-designed restaurants and create a relaxed, municipal space that people will feel comfortable in.’
He also said: ‘Nova will be providing a real hub for Victoria and we are proud to be at the heart of it. Although this area is now full of exciting companies and local residents, it is still terribly underserved by good restaurants. We can’t wait to change that.’
