Reaching a grand 100 years old in 2016, the Aviation cocktail has famously flown round the world to deserve a place in every world-class bar. Luxardo Maraschino is the classic essential in an Aviation, and Gareth ‘G’ Franklin, brand ambassador for Luxardo will crown 2016 the year of the Aviation. He launches the Luxardo Aviation Society this Summer.
Amongst his Aviation adventures, he plans to make ‘amazing Aviation’ cocktails high in the sky, on board his flight to Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans in July. His calendar of international bar industry celebrations and initiatives culminates when he presents at London’s new Spirit Show for consumers in December.
Luxardo Aviation Society (LAS) happenings for the on & off-trade and consumers: at The Perfect Serve Bar Show in Amsterdam (23 & 24 May), World Gin Day (week of 11 June), Imbibe Live (4-5 July), London Cocktail Week (3-9 October). Alongside, will be other surprises to celebrate the classic Aviation recipe of gin, Luxardo Maraschino, lemon juice and crème de violette – and also to discover contemporary new twists on the original by a whole new generation of bartenders.
