Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C., the London brewer and premium pub company, is delighted to announce that The Harp has been named Pub of the Year by West London CAMRA.
Raising the bar for premium pubs, The Harp saw off tough competition from its competitors. CAMRA judges each pub in the competition on a variety of criteria such as atmosphere, level of service, value for money and community focus, with extra weighting given to the quality of their real ale.
Sara Bird, Manager of The Harp, said: “I’m so proud to receive this – especially as The Harp has such a tradition for fantastic cask ale, having won the CAMRA National Award on a previous occasion. When Fuller’s bought The Harp in 2014, there was a lot of concern that things would change – so winning this award is genuine recognition that we’ve kept to our word and maintained The Harp’s tradition of serving fantastic cask ale from a wide range of breweries.
“I’ve got my sights set on the National Award now. That really would be the icing on the cake – or rather a wonderful head on a superb pint of cask beer.”
