Popular Thai restaurant family, Giggling Squid, is thrilled to announce the appointment of its new Head of People, Faith Locker-Marsh.
Having previously worked at The Big Easy as People and Talent Manager, and AMT Coffee as Recruitment Manager, Faith will now be leading recruitment and training programmes at all current 15 Giggling Squid sites, including the most recent opening in Bury St Edmunds and soon to launch Berkhamsted restaurant.
The food philosophy at Giggling Squid is intrinsically linked to co-owner, Pranee Laurillard, who is passionate about offering a fresh take on Thai cuisine. Alongside Andy Laurillard, this dynamic husband-and-wife team ensures Giggling Squid boasts brilliant combinations of interesting and authentic Thai food, from signature curries to street food and curated coastal dishes, unique lunchtime tapas sets, and the ‘little tapas’ menu designed for children.
Since the opening of the first site in Hove 2009, Giggling Squid is on course to hit its target of 50 UK restaurants within 4 years. Ambitious expansion plans mean that staff training and exceptional customer service is of the utmost importance. Faith’s appointment will no doubt contribute to the continuation of Giggling Squid’s exceptional high standards and unique way of working, which has resulted in their unprecedented loyal following.
