Following an extensive refurbishment, Bea’s Cake Boutique (formally Bea’s of Bloomsbury) are happy to announce their newest café just off Marylebone High Street will be opening on Monday 20th June. This is not only a new location for Bea’s but a space in which to showcase their new food offering, interiors and branding.
The new menu designed by new executive chef Jane Smyth, previously of Fortnum and Masons, shows how Bea’s have evolved in recent years from local café to premium offering with light savoury dishes such as Serrano ham with tapenade and frig relish on toast & Prosciutto, bocconcini and artichoke salad. Bea’s famous Afternoon Tea has also been given a refresh by Jane with new sandwiches and cakes included.
The look and interiors of Marylebone is also brand new for Bea’s with the old signature colour of blue changed for gorgeous pastel shades of pinks, caramels and creams. It also offers a welcoming formal space in which to enjoy your afternoon tea with an area at the rear of the café offering seating for up to 32 and an outside terrace to enjoy when the sun is shinning.
Located at the front of the store is a display area where you will be able to see for the first time see Bea’s beautiful wedding cakes and cakes for special occasions. Customers will be able to arrange a meeting with one of Bea’s dedicated wedding cake team from there as well.
