The new Ombré collection from Tafelstern is bringing refreshing vibrant colours to the tabletop. Distributed exclusively in the UK by Artis, Ombré is one of many new products to feature in the fully illustrated Artis 2016 catalogue, which has recently been launched.

Ombré offers a modern twist on the rustic theme with its vibrant colours to accentuate your cuisine. The brightly coloured rims vignette towards the centre of each piece creating a look that is easy on the eye. The Artis collection is offered in a choice of three vibrant colours; Coral, Orchid and Brown. The range comprises plates in three different sizes, large deep coupe plates perfect for serving pasta and Ottolenghi style salads in, small dishes, two sizes of cups and saucers.
The in-glaze coloured paint pattern is applied by spray process to a glazed piece which has already been fired at 1,400̊C. Following paint process, the pieces are fired again, thereby ensuring the colour does not fade and each item has the same resistance to marking, scratching and fading associated with all Tafelstern porcelain. Hence it is dishwasher safe and covered by a 5-year professional glaze warranty.
Specimen list prices include a 24cm deep coupe plate at £15.24 with small 18cm cups and saucers at £8.20 and £5.77 respectively.
