Local livestock and whisky specialists 1269 Restaurant, Bar & Grill will launch a new epicurean experience this month: Meet The Butcher.
The latest in culinary cool, award-winning executive Head Chef, Dean Crews will provide a private preparation and hands-on tutorial demonstrating his ingredient selection, unique butcher-style and authentic fire-based cooking techniques, followed by a menu tasting at his exclusive Chef’s Table.
Taking place within 1269’s glass preparation vault, guests will learn about the various cuts of meat and sample their way through Crews’ selection of exclusive ingredients including Buccleuch Estate, Himalayan Salt Rock and Txogitzu beef. They will then have the opportunity to cook their own cuts to perfection on the Josper Grill and enjoy a four-course meal with wine-pairing from 1269’s sommeliers.
