The Diner releases results to date for in-or-out Brexit poll

By James Russell: The Diner releases results to date for in-or-out Brexit poll

May 24, 2016

With the referendum quickly approching The Diner has embarked on its own poll to decide whether or not the UK should remain in the European Union. However, as usual The Diner’s doing things with a cheeky twist, asking customers to choose with their tastebuds: the In-or-Out Burger Poll gives diners the chance to choose IN or OUT. Results stand at 58% voting to remain in the EU and 42% voting to leave. The final result will be revealed on 22 June, one day before real life voting begins, so which do you choose?

Are EU in?

If you’re swaying toward the ‘In’ vote and feeling Hungary, The Diner has you sorted. Pig out with the ‘Le Dave’ Burger. A juicy French Charolais beef patty, topped with Swiss cheese and ‘Cameronised’ onions, scattered with cornichons and all sandwiched between a brioche bun. Accompany this meaty decision with garlic pommes frites. A bargain at €12.86*

Are EU out?

However, if independence is taking your fancy you should try The Diner’s ‘Sir Boris’. This delightful burger represents everything great about this country: a British ground chuck steak patty loaded with Smoked Applewood cheese and Middlewhite bacon squeezed into a proud floury bap. Enjoy this with a portion of British roast potatoes swimming in hot gravy! Yours for just £10.00

The Diner is offering you the best of British and the crème of Europe, so which will you pick?

It’s up to EU!
