A beautiful, “bespoke” era beckons for The Belle Epoque

By James Russell: A beautiful, “bespoke” era beckons for The Belle Epoque

May 12, 2016

For the first time in its 43 year history, Knutsford’s The Belle Epoque is to offer fine dining outside of its historic walls, providing event catering to external functions and events in the form of “Belle Epoque Bespoke”.

As one of the North West’s leading culinary beacons and wedding venues, The Belle Epoque has attracted discerning diners, sporting stars and celebrity guests for over four decades, securing its place within the top 5% of UK restaurants with two AA rosettes.

Whether for events at home, in a marquee or in an external venue, and whether for 20 or 500 guests, The Belle Epoque fine dining team will be bringing the same attention-to-detail that has helped maintain its place within the Michelin Guide for a staggering 38 consecutive years.

Operations Director Richard Walker will lead a stellar team, dedicated to serving up the very best dining experience whatever the location. Head Chef Paul Wright, a former protegee of Simon Radley, trained at the Michelin-starred Chester Grosvenor restaurant, and has his sights firmly set on establishing a leading catering business in Cheshire and beyond.

Locally-sourced produce once again remains at the heart of affairs, with tender cuts of Cheshire beef, seasonal fresh vegetables and homegrown herbs just a few of the tantalising ingredients gracing truly mouthwatering menus. In addition, newly installed beehives will provide the first crop of Belle Epoque Honey in 2016.

With vast experience of weddings and functions, Belle Epoque Bespoke will also help when it comes to the event arrangements and management, providing a one-stop solution to anyone wanting to run an event smoothly and successfully.

Speaking of the new initiative, Director Matthew Mooney said “We have had so many requests over the years from diners and guests, and with our sights firmly set on a third AA rosette, feel the time is right to introduce outside catering to our portfolio. Belle Epoque Bespoke will essentially take The Belle Epoque experience to any location, whether for an intimate soiree in the home, an outdoor wedding or a lavish corporate event. Our team will not only take the stress out of organising the various catering arrangements, but provide true “Belle Epoque hospitality” sure to impress guests whatever the occasion”.

Of course, there’s no place like home, and Belle Epoque Bespoke will also help to organise events and functions at The Belle Epoque, with its diverse ceremony room, Mediterranean roof top garden and restaurant remaining a popular choice for corporate organisations, families and wedding couples.
